To Place HVAC Access Door

Select an Access Door option from the Access Doors gallery.

Select a duct run where the access door will be placed.

Note: The duct is specific to the type of access door you are placing (Rectangular access door is placed on rectangular duct etc.)

The Place Component dialog will display.

Expand the HVAC Port Settings tab and define the options available for the port end preparations.

Click the Design Conditions to define the size parameters for the component. (Width, Height, etc.) By default, these values are determined by the duct size selected.

Note: You may use the other property fields in the Placement dialog to define more specific values for the component as needed.

Pick a point along the length of the duct to place the door and left click to accept.

Use the mouse to determine the rotation for the component and left click to accept.

Right-click to end the placement procedure.
